Cubby’s Corner
There are many unknowns in the world — a child’s next meal should not be one of them.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is excited to introduce Cubby’s Corner, a program that provides students access to shelf-stable, easy-to-make foods. We will be offering “snack packs” filled with simple meal ingredients for any student in our district experiencing food insecurity.
Distribution Hours: EVERY Friday, 2:30–4:00 p.m. (or until supplies run out) in the K-School Main Office Hallway
We will open at 2:30 p.m. so that students who ride the bus can ask their teacher for a quick break to pick up their items before heading home. We’ll remain open until 4:00 p.m. to give older students time to arrive after school. These hours are designed to help all students access food with dignity and privacy.
At this time, Cubby’s Corner is a temporary solution to a long-term problem, but with continued community support and student engagement, we hope to sustain this effort — providing nourishment, dignity, and peace of mind to our students.
How can you help?
We are seeking donations of all kinds — monetary contributions, shelf-stable (non-expired and unopened) food items, reusable bags, and volunteer time. If you’d like to help in any of these ways, please contact Megan at 406-214-2217 (call or text) or email [email protected].
Thank you for supporting our students and helping ensure that no child in our community goes hungry.
