The Brookings-Harbor School District will host a surplus equipment sale next Tuesday featuring a first-come, first-serve deal on used wagons and coolers.
During the COVID years, the district’s food service team purchased blue collapsible wagons (22 inches in length by 13 inches in width by 17 inches in height), red insulated food carriers, and insulated collapsible black food carriers.
There are approximately 8 wagons, 20 black collapsible food containers, and 17 red insulated food containers available in this sale. The wagons will be sold for $15 each and the containers for $5 each.
All proceeds from the sale will go toward paying off current high school students' delinquent meal account balances. The sale is a first-come first-serve and cash only. Buyers will be allowed to purchase a limit of one (1) of each of the three types of items. A receipt will be given at the time of purchase.
To purchase, please come to the High School cafeteria parking area (adjacent to the District Office, 629 Easy St.) on Tuesday, June 13th between the hours of 5 am-7:30 am. Contact Food Service Director Cindy Badger for questions: [email protected] or (541) 469-2108 extension 8. She will not be able to hold back or sell prior to the day and time of the sale.
